While most people focus on the inside of their home when spring-cleaning, there are also many tasks to take care of outside. Keep these outdoor spring-cleaning tips in mind to make sure that your home is looking its best.
- Clean your garage door – You probably never think about your garage door until it will not open. However, it is probably much dirtier than you think. Cleaning your garage can be fast and easy. If you have a pressure washer, simply spray down your door. If you do not, all you have to do is wipe down the door with a mild dish soap and water.
- Get rid of cob webs – You probably do not spend very much time looking under your eves when it is cold out, which means spiders have plenty of time to spin some webs. Use a cobweb duster or broom to get rid of all the cobwebs that you can see. Simply rub the duster or broom in the grass or on a bush to get rid of the webs.
- Wash your windows – Clean windows will help you better see the beautiful spring flowers. A mix of water and vinegar may not smell very nice, but it will get your windows crystal clear.
- Clean your trashcans – While trashcans are bound to smell come trash day, they do not always have to smell. Use a long brush or pressure washer to clean out all of your trashcans to ensure that they do not smell in the warm, spring weather.
